That's simply untrue. It's just that teams have decided to use similar designs.
unfortunately from a visual point of view im gonna agree with platinumrealot. All the cars this year seem to be going for some hybridised version of the RB side pods with the RB ridge/the ferrari "boat" (idk what to call it) - and everyone is bringing back the cannon exits in a form akin to RB and Alpine last season. I havent even mentioned the sidepod inlet underbite and ferrari-esque entry.JordanMugen wrote: โ14 Feb 2023, 08:18That's simply untrue. It's just that teams have decided to use similar designs.
For example, unlike the old rules cooling louvres are now allowed. So some cars in 2022 had no cannon radiator exits at all, like the Alfa Romeo Sauber.
Yes, but it's not because of the regulations. It's because they chosen to adopt similar designs IMO. The sidepod and airbox shape is quite free under these regulations.stan_french wrote: โ14 Feb 2023, 08:44unfortunately from a visual point of view im gonna agree with platinumrealot.
This Alpine F1 2023 still lacks a good slimming treatment towards the rear.kediown wrote: โ14 Feb 2023, 16:23https://preview.redd.it/8n48eh76x5ia1.p ... 0d845b5f1b
Another picture that is way clearer
Fully revised rear suspension, and mid back cooling louvres
