snajam wrote: ↑14 Feb 2023, 11:16I am in the aero industry and one thing stuck with me from a few years back. Where i was working at a German manufacturers motorsport Dep, the head aero (who held a senior aero position at RB in Sebs dominant period) told me that if you really want to learn Aerodynamics, go to RB and work under Dan Fallows. Backed up by how desperately RB wanted to hold onto Fallows as compared to Prodromou, I believe this guy is no slouch and his confidence at the launch does seem to suggest they know what they're doing this year.
Don't give me false hope. Let the cards fall as they may.....and may Fernando Alonso deliver us from evil (no I don't mean Verstappen ).Miha_v wrote: ↑15 Feb 2023, 00:03First car properly designed under Fallows, former head of RB aerodynamics with strong "know-how" + this year's stronger Mercedes engine + Alonso behind the wheel + rumours of great numbers in the wind tunnel...
I know every team is a future winning contender before the season begins but this actually looks really promising. Especially considering how much progress they made in 2022 season.
If they can nip at the heels of Mercedes, that would be a solid winter's work.
If car is capable of podiums trust alonso he will fight for championship. All he needs smell of blood and its guranteed killing. I hope he gets 1-2 chances to fight for championship beforing walking into sunset.
