Red Bull RB19

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

They even removed the aero rakes on the roll hoop so the cable won't interfere!

and for lack of a better word; that floor wing is badass!

Is that floor legal? it looks like it has 2 throat sections

It looks like the highlight of the fillet at the floor/sidepod intersection might fool the eye a bit. But they sure had a crack at a different floor design!

Great stuff! Really shows the nuances!

-Shorter bib
-Shorter lower lip on the intakes (in reference to the top of the inlet), but now even more a real protruding lip
-Sidepod is much more slender at the intake
-More agressive front suspesion geometry
-FW is less cranced

Might be fooling me, but I think we are seeing vortex flow vis in the undercut, under OR of ORACLE.

Good detailing from RB, I'm sure they will come up with an update of the sidepods quite soon.

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

The sidepod inlets are the same as those used since 2022 shakedown, so I also expect a sidepod change or something in this area

Look better, they are actually quite different when put side-by side. Look at the previously posted comparison pics.

What exactly was RedBull hiding so vigorously? There surely must be something I’ve not seen.
The floor edge wing seems to be the only radical addition for now, maybe that? :?: :?:
Potentially just not ready in time.

Looks like it's even lower and more squatting then last year. Seems to me they lean even more on the non porpoising chassis and therefore focusing on sealing the floor to get all potential out.
But just suppose it weren't hypothetical.
