All I’ve heard is negativity about this W14. Chandhok saying porposing, and now possible suspension issues. Not sure if you lot are anti Merc fans, but let’s just wait for tomorrow.

Hope these issues aren’t true, because I don’t back Ferrari to pose any real threat, and a repeat of 2022 would be depressing.

The Chandhok porpoising post was nonsense. Just retweeting some a cut clip that had been shared on social media and the porpoising was debunked in the longer scene.

Not anti-merc at all. I want Merc to come back to the front to give RB a run for their money - their driver lineup commands as much

Just can't ignore the negative noise and some of it doesn't seem to just be fibbing

I try to think the other way : last year we were reading stories about revolutionary concept which will give +1s advantage a lap etc... we end up with a draggy boat
Let's see

There will always be some team's fans that get depressed every year. Mercedes served it's fanbase for an unusually long time while other team's fans were feeling depressed. This goes in circles. The only way rumours can go away or turn true, is when rubber meets the road.

Why is there so less running? Are there any issues reported?

They have already clocked in 36 laps, vs the highest of 43, so not sure what you are looking at.

Toto didnt look convinced at the start of session.
That last run by Russell looked far more comfortable and looked like a raised ride height, but was it quick... not really...fuel??

Toto said bouncing solved. Purely from watching the car it looks more stable, and handles better. Having said that, there still looks a straight line deficit.

Realistically, this is just an evolution, and I can’t see Merc being near the RB at the start of the season unfortunately. Probably be one of those seasons again, whereby they catch up by the mid/end.
