Drugovich only really started accelerating with 20 minutes to go, he made two hot lap exits. Before that, he wasn't using DRS or using the curbs. As far as I saw, he also only used the yellow tire. At the end of the testing, Pedro De La Rosa made positive comments about the Brazilian performance.

Now, Alonso will show what the car has to offer.

Brazilian press reported that Stroll broke his 2 wrists, but that the team hopes he will recover to run the first race. The source is not the best, but anyway...

It was a pretty good lap considering he had traffic in Sector 2.

If Filipe gets more run time next 2 days; that's a good indicator that Lance won't be available for the first race.

Both wrists broken according to this journo.

Translation: Stroll broke both wrists and only operated on one in the bike accident. The team says he will be back for the GP... check it out!

Very new car and young team, these blips can happen I'm afraid.

Lots of issues here and there, but when it does run it seems pretty agile and stable.

Well Newey was asked who his competition are and he mentioned Ferrari, Mercedes and AMR soo.. seems their sim numbers were real :D

Alonso finally with a good career move?
Wouldn't that be wonderful! :D

But baby steps, we need to see Aston Martin get to the top of the midfield first.

The hype train is definitely full steam ahead, pending the low fuel runs of other mid-field teams on the next two test days.

Alonso's first low fuel run out of the blocks and 4 hundredths off verstappen, albeit running later in the day. I would be surprised if Aston martin aren't well clear of the midfield

The car looked good… But way too early to state pecking order… Wasn’t McLaren fastest at Barcelona last season (we know how it started for them)… The onboards showed a very balanced car (and the livery looked really good on track too)
