Yeah, I’m waiting for that too. See how that goes.

The problem is that the difference doesnt seem to have gotten smaller from last year so to be talking about that upgrade so much it better give the team more than 1 second in lap time for it to be successful. However why must the team play chase for one more year?CjC wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 10:51https://the-race.com/formula-1/the-main ... -happened/
Best article yet about the current package.
Seems to me that it’s essentially last years aero package when you consider 2 to 3 months ago was essentially the 2022 Abu Dhabi GP.
There is a lot being made about this Baku update so it better deliver for everyone’s sake
With a timid aero department, McLaren will never get anywhere. Blaming the Toyota tunnel isn’t valid (not that they are), but they need to be far more adventurous with their concepts, prove them in CFD, then refine them in whichever tunnel they have access too.
They haven't recovered from how Ron Dennis left the team.
Didn't they only miss it because they went down a different route late in the day?
The manner in which they talk about the front wing changes is that it will be a "chunk of time". This to me suggests around 3 tenths upwards, plus time from other parts of the package.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑25 Feb 2023, 10:58The problem is that the difference doesnt seem to have gotten smaller from last year so to be talking about that upgrade so much it better give the team more than 1 second in lap time for it to be successful.
