Spare, only track specific changes for the wings for this weekend
you don't have to list all upgrades, look at ferrari todayKaklaman wrote: ↑17 Mar 2023, 13:56Spare, only track specific changes for the wings for this weekend
List of all upgrades:
If you compare the beam wing last race
It is the RB rear end. The corners of the diffuser are very rounded whereas amr have squared off corners of the diffuser (as you can see in the Saudi photo).
As always fantastic work Vanja! Thanks for your effort that really enhances this forum!Vanja #66 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 19:06So, here's part 1 of a 3-part series Shub and I worked on, there's some W14 talk as well, but the main talk will be about AMR23 sides. Lots of plots yet to come, yaw simulations and some nice animations

After the final video, I'll be posting some full-res plots here on the forum, so don't worry and don't bother taking screenshots
Cheers, Andi!
Any idea why there's such a difference in the pressure build up on the rear tyres between the two concepts? Is this a major contributor for AMR23's dragy-ness?Vanja #66 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 19:06So, here's part 1 of a 3-part series Shub and I worked on, there's some W14 talk as well, but the main talk will be about AMR23 sides. What surprises me a bit is the Mercedes' much lower pressure buildup on the rear tire. Likewise, the rear wing but also the front wing seems to work better on the Mercedes, but the airflow at the sidepod seems a bit uncoordinated. I expect this to get worse with Yaw. But is there something about the simulation that explains the stronger pressure buildup on the rear tire of the AM as well as what i noticed about the front and rear wing? Or were the conditions the same? I'm looking forward to part II.
