A brick it may well be, but I'd guess that Williams, Alpha, Hass and Alfa wouldn't mind being as bricky.
Are these teams a benchmark for McLaren? I thought McLaren wanted to get back to the top.
Clearly not a benchmark for the team but it's important to put things into perspective and not overreact to a below par car being developed (admittedly so from the team). Ultimately Oscar was only half a second down on the fastest AM today which is being heralded as the best thing since sliced bread.
The car certainly looks sluggish on the straights. The optimist in me would say that they're running higher downforce which would help preserve the tyres tomorrow. The pessimist in me says that they may struggle to overtake and defend in direct fights. What do we all think?
