Here are some interesting photos:
Great photos, this one shows the "only" remaining difference between Ferrari and RB pylon design, the DRS pod joint. RB have a curve there, to avoid interference drag.
In these shots Ferrari’s rear wing does not look like it produces significantly more downforce or drag than RedBull’s, does it?Vanja #66 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 13:55Great photos, this one shows the "only" remaining difference between Ferrari and RB pylon design, the DRS pod joint. These are terrible angles for determining that .LM10 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 14:15In these shots Ferrari’s rear wing does not look like it produces significantly more downforce or drag than RedBull’s, does it?Vanja #66 wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 13:55Great photos, this one shows the "only" remaining difference between Ferrari and RB pylon design, the DRS pod joint. RB photo is from Bahrain, good angle Same pylon design again in Jeddah of course.
Honestly, I did not watch him for some time, cause many times he made very wrong analyses.Andi76 wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 06:00Piola says that this change actually exists.Sevach wrote: ↑17 Mar 2023, 17:37https://twitter.com/NicolasF1i/status/1 ... 14336?s=20
The guy who first "noticed" the sidepod change is now saying "my bad", there's nothing here fellas.
Who is right now??? Unfortunately, I did not have the time for accurate comparisons.... Since he also talks about a narrower bodywork and considering the short time (unless this was an update that would have been planned before the Bahrain GP) he could well have succumbed to the same deception.
Oh ok, this explains it more. Even though it’s harder to judge from those angles, like AR3-GP said.
There was no new floor at all, a twitter account made a point it looks the same, people saw only pictures and made up a story.zioture wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 16:13the new Floor seems to have been tested on Friday but then not used, in fact in the last two photos for comparison it looks like the old one.

Indeed
This is a statement about Piola that I can't agree with, even if he is certainly wrong here. And I can tell you that Piola is also highly respected by F1 engineers. Every F1 engineer I've talked to about Piola and his statements about technical details has always said, "When Piola says that, it's usually true, he's extremely accurate." Even though I have found one or two mistakes in his work (which everyone makes), Piola is very accurate and correct, so I can't agree with your statement in general.FDD wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 18:04Honestly, I did not watch him for some time, cause many times he made very wrong analyses.Andi76 wrote: ↑18 Mar 2023, 06:00Piola says that this change actually exists.Sevach wrote: ↑17 Mar 2023, 17:37https://twitter.com/NicolasF1i/status/1 ... 14336?s=20

He is very long time around F1 but he is not a technician/engineer and he does not understand the things.
He makes excellent pictures and drawings, that is all.
According to PG they gained data on Friday as normal and shelved itzioture wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 19:09Read this new floor edge

It translates to Ferrari used the new front wing in Saudi Arabia. The new floor was used on Friday to collect data but was not used in the race.organic wrote: ↑20 Mar 2023, 15:14According to PG they gained data on Friday as normal and shelved itzioture wrote: ↑19 Mar 2023, 19:09Read this new floor edge
