Maybe they'll keep him as a test driver. Can't imagine him accepting such a relegation though. He's hard to form an opinion on though thats for sure.

Heidfeld has a 1 year contract with Williams. Webber has 2 years. On current form its hard to split them. With 13 more races, by the end of the year, I'm thinking the results will be clearer, and I'm tipping Webber. Heidfeld is quick and clever, but tends to wait for things to happen. Circumstances have favoured him to date I think. Webber tends to have more of a plan and tries to make things happen. Should be a very interesting duel.

Webber was extremely disappointed with third, but he should be happy with his first podium.

I hope Williams could continue with this performance (a la 2003 w/ the turnaround at Monaco).

Well...like some people have said, Webber was a little overhyped and is overrated...he's only shown his abilities with driver's that are not highly regarded and were rookies (Wilson, Pizzonia, Yoong...) He's been glorified so much in the past, that ever since his confrontations with Pizzonia, Webber's truly believes he's the Wonder boy...

This is his first year with a qualified veteran and I hope Heidfeld (whom is completely underrated) can show up Webber this whole season.

Webber's attitude on theMonaco podium and post conference was so ungrateful. So many would love to be in his position, and he whines...

Go Heidfeld - kick his ass...

I am one of webbers biggest critics.. im happy if he proves me wrong and blows heideld away.. but in reality webber is more like trulii .. qualifying specialist.. heidfeld in the other hand is very consistent over the whole race.. and that pass on alonso was BRILLIANT.. i think with williams improving we will see some good racing between the two drivers.. now all we need to hear is button confirming his depature frm BAR... spice things up in the williams camp!!

I agree he should have behaved a little better. But if Webber had come in before Heidfeld, he would have been 2nd. Why was Heidfeld called in to pit 1st - is there any logic to that? I think Webber was pissed with the team strategy not with missing 2nd place. This is the 2nd time Nick has pinched 2nd place from him (yes Fisichella was completely in the wrong in Malaysia - he knew his tyres were shot and yet tried a move like that?). So given that these two events where completely out of Webber's control, to say that Heidfeld is more competitive and Webber thinks he's a wonder boy is a little subjective. Yes, Heidfeld has been underrated - the pass on Alonso was brilliant, but then he had the assistance of a back-marker to distract Alonso where Webber didn't. Give it few more races guys before bagging Webber.

i am biassed, being aussie and all, i beleive webber is better than heidfeld, he is much faster, but webber must have the concentration of a flea compared to some drivers, cos to many times this season he seems to make mistakes. things heidfeld doesnt seem to do. so in my opinion, if webber could iron out his mistakes, he would be a more complete, and faster driver than mr heidfeld. that being said, he dont think he is the wonderboy at all, he said himself at the start of the season, "i dont know why people are so hyped about me, i havnt done anything"

ah, that should read the 2nd time Heidfeld has pinched a higher finish from Webber (Heidfeld was 3rd in Malaysia)
