No, I I'm definitely not saying it's worth 10km/h or something like that. However just another 1-2 km/h can put more pressure on the driver ahead and lead to a mistake, or desperate deployment strategy that changes how the battle plays out.

I think Charles can be competitive in the beginning of the race because drivers are balancing tire management and stint length. The real test is if there is a dash to the finish when we know there is no tire saving or management of engine.

I think Verstappen has a good chance to win if he doesn't crash.

the only thing that propel the car to those top speed is the engine.people are so eager to talk about ferrari engine but redbull its always about aero efficiency,i find it odd and very curious.you cant look at ferrari over just one lap in a quali trim,you have to look at a series of laps the ferrari ers fall short,thats one of reason they cant repeat their quali miracle over a race distance.

I think you are interpreting this the wrong way. There is no conspiracy to discredit Honda. The have the best hybrid system by some margin and it allows them all sorts of flexibility with strategy and overtaking.

off course they is not prevalent on furum like these because u can debate but among media type,magic drs tricks and voodoo aero bits that teleport Rbr car to the stratosphere.when charles put it on pole Marko could not accept that they were slower on the corners and made recovery on the straight,he just implied its ferrari great pu even though data does not support his claim.i would have loved to have seen redbull aero tricks during merc domination a least it would have spared us those boring times.

There is no doubt that RBR will be faster in race trim. If RBR and Ferrari swap around their engines, RBR will still be miles away on top speed purely on their design efficiency.
Newey is just a genius and there is no chance for anyone to better him when it comes to F1 car design.
RBR can only lose if and only if their engine blows up or falls behind Merc or Ferrari in this formula or the next.

I notice at the start of Q2 Sprint qualifying, Verstappen drives out of the pits and after just 1 corner he throws away a tear off. Is this really necessary? It seems as if drivers use their tear offs as Mario Kart bananas. FIA should do something about this.

Makes more sense than dropping it out of a stationary car. Lewis had to ask a cameraman to remove one from his car he likely dropped. Just put it between your legs. Your stationary in the pits.
