Pirelli's tyre list is available now. Hadn't noticed that Aston used their only new set of mediums for the sprint

what makes you think so? If it's a one stop race, they are completely fine

If RB’s get into an early 1-2 and it’s a dull race, I’m fully expecting a ridiculous safety car to be called with less than 10 laps to go.

Red flag and a standing restart. Watch the chaos follow. If that happens, it just cements the saying that the sport is on a massive decline and made purely for entertainment.

What makes me think so!? Leclerc’s had fresh mediums in speed race against RB on used mediums and could not hold onto his tyres for more than 8 laps. Today’s gonna be a bloodbath.

Is it too far fetched to think Perez kept Leclerc in his drs not to let Max pass Leclerc ? I thought the overspeed was massive when Perez accelerated after lap 15.

well, yes, if you are talking about battling Red Bull, I agree. Yesterday LEC pushed too hard behind Perez, and paid for it in the end.

But cruising home to 3rd won't be a problem, I think. He is miles faster than everyone else behind, so can take it fairly easy.

I thought they race to win, not to cruise in 3rd place…

Fully expecting most to start on the Mediums. Interesting to not that the AMR boys dont have any New Mediums left, so they could be likely to start on the hard tyre and go long, but then they are dropping onto a used medium at best.

I think some of those at the back will try to start on hards, usually it's quite a good strategy in Baku.

But need to be some which have two sets available, otherwise they are screwed if they pick up debry at the start or something like that.

That’s what they all say but you’ve got to be realistic. The Ferrari cannot outpace the Redbull over a race distance. So aiming for third is the sensible thing to do. If Leclerc pushes too hard to win he might fall into the clutches of Alonso I predict.

Probably better to start on the used, as the likelihood of a safety car in the first 15 laps is quite high.
on to hard or new meds then and unless they are unlucky in a good place.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.
