I think the reason the rears are overheating in spite of the big rear wing is likely due not being able to keep the floor downforce constant. The floor downforce is much more than the rear wing downforce.

Either that or they have insane toe angles on them. I think the former theory is closer to the truth.

Race pace looked horrendous. That RB balance is insane on a car running such a low DF package. That floor must be generating a ridiculous amount of DF at an insane efficiency. Think Ferrari will struggle until they sort out the suspension and balance issues. I’m guessing that will allow them to run closer to extract more performance from the floor and switch out the barn door for better straight line performance. Once the cars fall out of DRS range in the race they will struggle with those RW generating so much drag.

Leclerc finds barrier. Seems like a its becoming a habit for him now.
That is what some of FERRARI/ Leclerc fanboys think.

Other than the engine turned down, Ferrari was definitely heavier. In the slow T11-16 section Leclerc was on par with Max, while in their individual best race-sim laps he lost 0.5s in that section alone. Since this is pure mechanical section, we know aero has very little influence so those reported ride height changes between Q and R have no influence in that section, so it can only men a heavier car or Leclerc wasn't pushing at all.

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Leclerc : "we are so far behind RB. They are in a league of their own. Feeling is good on one lap pace". Not the first time that Ferrari produced a car which was good in quali, but trash in race pace (like the SF 90). I miss the SF 70H.

Or shot / overheated tyres.

And with the race starting at 3:30PM, the hottest time of the day, on the black tarmac, those tyres are going to fall off quickly. I feel it's going to be a brutal race, unfortunately. :(

Will Leclerc be able to push today after yesterdays crash? Or will he be hesitant. Looking from onboard camera of Ferrari vs rb, Ferrari just doesn’t seem calm and feel like at any moment it will slip.

Welcome to Ferrari designed cars.

Embarrassing pace on soft tyres which are already completely done.

Are the upgrades on both cars, or only Sainz’ car? A half second advantage for Carlos in P3 is uncharacteristic.

It's characteristic of a weekend when Leclerc is struggling with his setup while Sainz found his.

Welp, there is no defending this mistake. Looks like he hit something on the inside of the kerb and it put him around. It was looking good up until then.

Is Leclerc going to make more and more errors as Vettel did after Germany 2018?
