I saw a tweet from Duchessa claiming that the new rear wing is giving Red Bull-esque DRS advantage, has anyone checked the numbers on that?
The official FIA document says they only brought new cooling louvers to the race. Where is this new Rear Wing talk coming from. I mean I Saw them running flowviz but if its a new RW, why does FIA document not reflect that?
New rear wing=Baku New rear wing.

Lance was a liability today.
AM tried to squeeze to Q2 on one set of Softs that strategy failed for Lance.
Anyways ,he scored 10th starting from pit lane last year so not to worry :D :D
They made it tougher to pass this year, which I don't understand. It was difficult last year.

It's tough to overtake but Red Bull is on another level though, so will be tough on dry.
How is the race pace of Aston here?

impossible to say for sure with basically no longruns so far this weekend. 2nd best team in the race would be no surprise, though, I think

edit: FP2 times:

Alonso's lap after the red flag was really good, but not sure how represantative that was. With no tyre saving necessary anymore due to the lack of time, he may have pushed a bit more than others

He will have to go off line to pass though and if the track is as bad as it was Friday it may have some spectacular endings.

There are 3 DRS zones. This race won't be nearly as bad as some think.

Question is, if he has a great start and grabs P1 there, will he be able to hold it for the entire race? This seems quite unlikely to me with Red Bull. I think Verstappen may also join the party at some stage.

It was tough last year and DRSs were longer but we'll see.

Think the only chance he has is if Perez puts it into the wall, which has been known to do. The other chance would be if there were to be a large discrepancy in tire wear.

Even Hamilton had several overtakes in the W13 last year. I can’t promise anything ( ), but it’s not like it’s Monaco.

It will be difficult to follow a car let alone overtake it.If Alonso can repeat Jeddaha start ; Perez will suffer good amount of tire ware to pass Alonso that will give chance to AM for long game.

They tried the Jedah rear wing in FP3 is what AC3 said, I beleve. Alonso said they tried all kinds of set-up combinations for fp3 then went back to the Friday config. The tried and known config.
