Brawn Helmets

Post

Ok, Fairly pointless topic, But its been bugging me, so i have to ask.

At the start of the season, both Brawn Drivers had there helmets redesigned in the Brawn colours which i though was kinda cool. Since about the 4 race in RB has been running his old colour helmet, To me this oddly links to when he started to feel like he was getting less support than button. Could this be the reason? Is RB not feeling like a "company man" at the moment?

As i said this is largely pointless, but i was just wondering if anybody has any insight on this.
I believe in the chain of command, Its the chain I use to beat you till you do what i want!!!

You may have a point there, but maybe its down to personal preferance, or maybe because they both had the same colour scheme, and graphics in sort of the same places, they were getting harder to distinguish on track? Maybe the camera stalk colouration wasnt enough to differenciate between them?
Although i would assume is relatively easy to distinguish, Jenson is the one in front.....

I think it all goes down to the fact that Jenson is extremely thankful to the team and shows his support this way, but Rubens, well, just isn't and his helmet is also sort of a message.

Actually, Jenson has mentioned that he is not switching back to his regular coloured helmet because of superstition. He believes that these colours have brought him good luck.

Rubens switched back as planned, their early colours were a thanks to the team for making it to the grid in time.

My thoughts exactly.

Jenson was originally meant to change after 4 races. But like you said he has been winning since, and to many sports people susperstition is sometimes a great influence in decisions.

Jenson however will use his normal colours (or slightly different) at Silverstone, he confirmed this to BBC during the Turkey GP weekend, he is very patriotic and for him to wear his national colours for his home race is only natural.

tbh I think Buttons current colours will look better, and that takes alot for me to say because I am lover of his original helmet design.

I'm not really into energy drinks (I prefer tea), but just as a team name I think Monster Brawn kinda sounds better than Virgin Brawn. :)

I recon that Monster will take out a good ammount of a Brawn GP cars ad space at Nurburgring. Posibly hole rear wing or side pods???

Brawn are contractually bound with Honda not to put ads on the engine cover i think i heard. Not shure tho.

Brawn need a couple more sponsors, and new race suits with the sponsors logos on as well.

Button needs to bring back his old yellow helmet back. It was bring some really good luck for him. But now with this new helmet he is absolutely no where with the sh**ty weather.
