As strange as it sound I consider a huge upgrade on the level of a second.
Think you’re living in cloud cuckoo land mate. When was the last time a team found that chunk of a time in an upgrade?

Not so much strange as utterly outside of reality and doesn't happen.

A huge upgrade is 3 or 4 tenths.

I'd suggest the upper reach of what might be reasonable is 4 to 5 tenths. But that is a stretch. But it is 2 upgrades with each supposedly bigger than Baku.

I suppose its impossible in todays F1. Used to happen back in the 80s,90s and 2000s. Still it could be called a huge upgrade if the team gains these 3 to 4 tenths after all teams bring their upgrades.

It doesn't matter how big the changes are in the service pack. The total increase can be 0.1 seconds. Because sometimes updates work and sometimes they don't. I will assume that the total upgrade package that will arrive at Silverstone will give an increase of 0.3-0.4 seconds relative to the current specification.

If we were to solve low speed issues and make the aero more efficient then we'd be close to our target.

More efficient does mean less drag, but also means more DF from the floor which means less wing and less drag.

Can the low speed issues and drag be nullified or there will always be some of it as per the law of physics?

Top 10 could be a struggle given the Alpine pace

So the target is to bring the drag down to Red Bull levels since they set up the bar. Is the drag the only thing that causes all these problems? If we bring it down to Red Bull levels does that mean the car will be equivalent to them?

Ouch. Lando Norris screwed himself. And what do you mean no surprise?

There is always something bad luck when we have a competent pace.

Will the mechanics have time to fix the tie rod and mount?
