I thought the same. Even the RB18 from Monaco 2022 looks like it’s in another category compared to this.

Truth be told, RB boat section might be integrated in such a complex manner that some teams might not be able to "catch" the proper phenomena and therefore give it a pass.

On the other hand, there's a downward kick in the back just ahead of the diffuser, just like RB (and now also AMR). You can notice it as two symmetrical black spots on the floor.

Alpine seems to need to run more cooling louvers than Aston Martin.

No arguing that. Wonder if that has something to do with the height of that middle section. I noticed the new Merc body work has an even higher middle section and they didn't need any louvers. More space for the heat to rise away from the ICE and better internal air flow?
