Well, firstly I am glad I never had Ferrari in my team. But it is not "time to sell". If someone really still has them, it is long, long overdue. From a points per million perspective they are the worst team of the whole bunch.
As for Mercedes: It remains to be seen. ATM they appear to be a "keep" but not an outright "buy".

Not sure what pays more really. The cars or the drivers.
Maybe this might help you a bit (ordered by current points descending):
Entity Cat. Pts. Total

Red Bull Car 377
Verstappen Driver 302
Perez Driver 225
Mercedes Car 212
Aston Martin Car 189
Alonso Driver 185
Hamilton Driver 157
Ferrari Car 144
Russell Driver 139
Sainz Driver 108
Leclerc Driver 108
Tsunoda Driver 100
Alpine Car 94
Norris Driver 92
Gasly Driver 86
Albon Driver 85
Zhou Driver 84
Alfa Romeo Car 82
Bottas Driver 76
Ocon Driver 75
Stroll Driver 71
McLaren Car 69
Magnussen Driver 66
Alpha Tauri Car 65
Haas Car 61
Hülkenberg Driver 60
De Vries Driver 46
Williams Car 45
Piastri Driver 45
Sargeant Driver 21
The drivers: Perez, Alonso, Sargeant. Started with De Vries and Alfa Romeo instead of Haas and Sargeant, but they were seriously underperforming, and that hampered my budget.
I have Hamilton, Zhou & Albon; teamed up with RedBull, Aston & Alpine. I’ve missed getting predictions in for a few races (3-4) & I’m mid-table.
No pro-elite bonus, no team/driver changes.
Perspective - Understanding that sometimes the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.
Team value, 101M. Cash, 3M. Not bad from 75M, but P12 in our league and probably too late to seriously move up.
I am assuming that a lot of people might have picked up Alonso's overall +9M (AM +7M), and/or Verstappens +4M. Fewer might have picked up Albon's +5M.
I got lot of points last few races with small changes.
Actual team is:
Albon +5
Verstappen +1,5
Ricciardo +1,5
Redbul +3,5
Mclaren +3
Aston Martin +7,5
Total is 102,5 plus cash 3,5
But lost some in the begin with Ferrari and Sainz
The game change were Verstappen and Redbul
