close enough that the sf-23 could fight for the win on sunday IMO. Not even a SC may be required - the km/h advantage down the straight (+4km/h over RB) in Fp2 may also prove crucial should Leclerc gain track position (eg through quali or great start)
With this even Norris & Gasly seem to be in the mix.
The problem is RB regression.
Or perhaps that's the solution to this dull season :D

Guys remember that Canada is a really short track. The absolute gaps will be smaller than usual.

You mean the gap in Ferrari strategy?

They need to pick up the first person they find ahead of Maranello HQ and place them for head of strategy and operations. Literally any person other than current leadership. This is beyond embarassing, 3 Q sessions in a row messed up for the faster driver, 4 in total in 8 races!!!
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

I told you not get your expectations high after those news regarding Rhueda, not being head of the strategy anymore. That guy (Ravin? Or something) is in charge for couple of years if I’m not mistaken.

God damn it Charles, just dive into pits and change your tyres yourself if needed. Those guys on the pitwall are brain dead

I'm here before people come and blame Leclerc when he asked for Softs when Albon went P1...

I mean honestly. They are acting like they are defending lead or something in the championship. Jesus, they need to risk something. What worst can happen. Will stay 4th in the championship?

But also Leclerc had a messy runs, so he can take part of blame

The dry window was about 3 fast laps, if they put him on softs when he asked he would be at the top at the end of Q2, he gets put into traffic and it starts to rain... Is he suppose to control the weather aswell

They aslo said 6 minutes until rain started, he had to do a push lap, in lap, box for softs, out lap, and another push lap... that is very close to s 6 minutes process isn't it?

In changing conditions, everything is pure luck, mostly the traffic. Alonso got through because he didn't gamble with other tyres, as well as Mercs. Ferrari wall should have pitted both drivers as soon as Charles asked for that, it was a 1000% no-brainer. That was the biggest mistake, because they must know that changing conditions and drivers with different tyres on track always mean traffic issues and traffic issues mean tyre prep issues. It turns out - they clearly don't know and their decision-making algorithms are completely inadequate for changing conditons (and also questionable even in dry conditions). Just remember 2022 Brasil Q...

I'm speechless on Sainz Q3 lap...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
