Hungary will be a test to see if previous struggles were more track specific
C3-C5, high temps & no high speed corners should mean a good track for AMR23. it's also a track PDR mentioned at the start of the year as one where they'll be good
PDR?
Looked didn't see any evidence of this being reported on.
The "filming days" are glorified test sessions.
Mclaren and Alpine have already done as much with varying degrees of success.
“It was fascinating to see the facilities, the people there in the same room, manufacturing our own parts of the car.”
“Until now, third parties were making our car, our chassis and everything. It’s a step forward."
100km per test. Advantage to have run at Silverstone not long ago, you already have the base setup. If you can set it up for similiar temp and time of day you can really draw good conclusions and waste few KMs on setup. Basically you jump right in and start gathering data.
I concur, only working updates can take them forward not talks. When hype starts to die, you will see more optimistic talks. This is what has happened with AM in last 1 month, more talk less action.NAPI10 wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 15:03I am keeping my expectations in check(still praying they will light-up the screen) & few experts too -
