I dont think they have the outright pace. I also dont think their strategy department is one of the better ones. Dumb luck with a safety car situation like Silverstone could get them up around 7-8th which is the best they can hope for.

Afyer watching fp3 if anyone is hoping for podium finish then i have nothing more to say. They will struggle to make into Q3. Race max 7th place. They have been caught with pants down. How on earth can loose this much advantage.

The sad part is that this is a track that was supposed to suit the car.

So I imagine the next half of season battling to just finish in the points.

We had a dream during 6 months, I hope very much that 2024 could bring the 33 victory for ALO

But we all know that miracle are not happening every year so I sadly expect no more wins for ALO until retirement.

Seriously i am pissed off with Alonso. He has new habit of messing in final lap.i cant recall when he improved on his last attempt. How come he lost 3 tenth in last lap. He was just .135 seconds away by end of second.

He did not do personal best in last sector in last lap. There is consistent pattern recently with him on not improving on previous personal best on last attempt.

He's been like that as long as I can remember. It's not a recent thing. The recent thing was him actually doing good qualis in the first races of this year. Where he lacks in quali he more than makes up for in the race.

Maybe age catching up with him, or he cooked the tires for the last sector.

Yeah. I don't know about that but he didn't improve in turns 13 and 14. He was faster overall.

He had messed up 13 twice before by over throttling it. He didn't this time....He looked like he got understeer...maybe he went to hot....I don’t know if they changed a diff setting and that made the difference....

Remember, the closer to the edge you are, the easier it is to make a mistake.

With Max its an exception today with Alonso it is becoming a pattern. This thing gets ignored because his team member is stroll. Just think alonso is teammate of verstappen and this happens. He will be roasted same way perez is being done. I still rate him among very best on grid so this patterm is not acceptable
