Daniel brealing his hand is unfulfilled cruel justice for DeVries in a sense. Nyck really wanted to race here in front of his home crowd. To complete the circle Marko should have called him back.

Agree, after all these shenanigans, they could at least have granted Nyck his home race. Also gives the Dutch crowd something to look out to. They deserve that for their loyalty to the sport.

Would make sense for Nyck to drive. But I cant help but think that he's been in a F1 seat and couldnt show his worth, so having Liam there aswell gives him a 'free pass' to see how he does in a F1 race weekend. They know what they would get from Nyck, they have limited showings from Liam.

For all of Mclaren's concern about the low speed, they seem to handle those corners extremely well this weekend.

Quite a fun session in FP3 with changing conditions. McL pace looks really good, podium contenders.

I can't quite reconcile the onboard pictures with the laptimes (well it makes slightly more sense now), but the Mclaren looks very good in the low speed. The RB looks diabolical and twitchy. Yet RB are able to get the comparable laptime out of it. :wtf:

Something I haven't seen mentioned, does the Alfa have a shorter wheelbase this year too?

So in FP3, there were teams that seemed to be betting on a wet setup for the race (MCL, Williams, Alpine) and others that were trying both configurations in order to figure out the best bet around here on Sunday ...
