That would be nice. Still to be found out how ALB compares to other top tier drivers like RUS, LEC by the way. Would help him in negotiations.

Rumor has it that Ferrari will bring as many as 5 new strategies to the race.

Max needs to be taken out in early stage that is the only way anyone can get a win here.

Would like to see Albon in the podium

Max knows he's a target and has been doing some of the most gingerly lap one driving I've ever seen! Such is his pace advantage over Perez right now , he knows a clean succession of early laps is all he needs.

A β€˜target’ or knowing you have the car to win even if your not first after the first lap?

I’ll go for the second statement. Anyone who even qualifies in the first or 2nd row openly acknowledge that Max isn’t their race, the threat is always from behind.

Verstappen is surely targeting his 10th in a row and then Singapore, since he has never won that. So, min 11 consecutive wins we should be expecting to see at least for sure.

Any idea what happened on the run to Lesmo?

There was a proposal in 2018 to remove the second chicane and run straight to Lesmo, not sure if this part of that plan.

will be interesting to see how the teams approach the practice sessions today. Those ATA rules + softer tyres may result in very limited running, I'm afraid

That is the part where the damage of the storms and floodings earlier this year is most visible .. 😒
