They were all safe, the only drivers who could drop out in Q1 were:
- Bottas, Zhou, Sargeant (all 100% out as they already had finished their laps)
- Stroll who did not improve enough and would have been out even without the crash
- Albon (in the hot seat and already done his lap)
- Piastri (still going)
everyone else was going to Q2.

Stroll and Alonso were within half a tenth after S2, Piastri one tenth quicker

Yea ... and then at the apex of T18 (2nd to last corner) Stroll was already +1s on Tsunoda, it would have put him in P17 at best.
Thus Alonso was safe and Piastri could/would have relegated Albon to P16 and out of Q.

The Tsunoda one was slam dunk. No way any other driver would not get a grid drop. I do not even understand why. 3 places are not going to prevent him from climbing back up if he has the pace. Not giving the penalty though, does way more damage to the sport.

Stewards don't give penalties to inter team squables. Torro Rosso probably didn't push for a penaly and told the stewards to ignore Yuki's cries.

Makes me smile given some here asking for 10 second penalties last week for Ham, and now we have triple breaches by the champ, and not one penalty nor outcry from the fans of the sport.

Nonethless redbull can still win this race. Max and Checo are not far behind. They can start on the hards and stay out and run long and make a one stop. The car will find pace once up to temperature. So I am not ruling out a win.
It was the car for Q3, but when they win it wont be the car, it will be the driver working miracles.

It's not a sham. It's the "all within the family" unwritten rule. When two teammates clash or impede one another there is no penalty. It's the same here. Redbull field 4 cars. One is the de-facto #1 and the other three are the #2 driver cars.
The FIA should force redbull to sell Torro Rosso.

The pitlane investigation was nonsense, Alonso q3 hungary especially and literally any qualification shows its fine to impede other drivers in a similar manner. Verstappen doesnt give an F and just stops where others tend to roll really slowly between the white lines that cant be crossed. Russell creates the same gap but does it by driving 34 kph outside the pitlane. They should have investigated VER for stopping on the circuit, but they didnt, they investigated for impeding.

Blocking Sar should be a reprimand or no action, the explanation that a bunch of cars driving around made changing direction hard/dangerous is reasonable and Sargeant said he wasnt bothered.

The no grid penalty for blocking Tsunoda is a joke. From now on its almost better to not inform the driver in certain situations, you'll get a reprimand and 5000$ fine. If the driver makes a mistake after you inform them you risk a grid penalty and you can just use it to tactically block a competitor for a small fine.

So this is the level of corruption we accept? So long as one has enough money to buy multiple teams they can play with extended teams?

Budget cap really only counts for losers apparently.
