If Leclerc somehow manages to jump Russell, Sainz will likely burn of his tyres again, and could see Monza 2.0

Despite the qualifying performance, I'm not expecting a win... maybe they'll be lucky to get either car on the podium. Obviously this race is typically a lottery, but strategy and race-pace haven't been on point consistently.

Truly hope I'm wrong, but cannot see them winning it; Podium a solid bet, both cars on it? Not sure...

Charles on Softs could help off the line and maybe to Jump Russell... wonder if Charles ends up getting held up by Sainz, will they let him past?

Also, if the track is quite green, the Soft might help initially giving a bit more grip as the track begins to rubbers up.

I think Charles just pushed the pack too far back... honestly, it might've been better if he was right behind Sainz instead of dropping back. Now though, cannot see Charles finishing much higher than 4th now; Definitely not fast enough to overtake here.

I wonder if Charles was to pit sometime in the lap 40's range for a fresh set of tyres... yes, he'd fall in the back, but fresh tyres and free to push a bit more, would it work out? Worst case he'll still end up in the points.

Charles is going to have to get his elbows out to save Sainz here.

Someone mentioned Ferrari had no new tyres... only Used Softs.

That being said, given the time the VSC came out, Used Softs should've been able to make it to the end now... should've at least given Charles a go on it.

Charles needs to defend like he’s never done before here

Hard to do that with a 20+lap fresh tyre difference... lets be honest, Ferrari will either finish 2nd or 3rd at best with Sainz now.

Great thinking by Mercedes in keeping that Medium set of tyres for the race.
