A win is a win we'll take it. Today we celebrate Carlos and Ferrari.

Charles' super unlucky with the first SC. Should've brought him in 1 lap earlier than the Mercs for a chance at a podium at the last VSC. The 1-2 was again there and it wasn't maximized.

Concerns from this race would be the disparity between qualy and race pace still. The 1-2 was again there and it wasn't maximized. Still a lot of work to do on the strategy part.

Well done Ferrari, you almost lost a win from an easy 1-2. Not even Massa got the treatment Leclerc got today. I've never felt so embarrassed...

Leclerc is doing Ferrari such an amazing service, I honestly hope he won't be a team player again till the end of this season.

Don’t understand Ferrari not splitting the strategy. Softs would have got him home no worse than those shot hards

Agreed. He had a free stop where he would have lost no places. Yes they only had used tires, but they had to be better than those hards.

Wow, what a finish!

That was a flawless driving from Sainz there. And the strategical driving to get Norris into the DRS window was pure class. Hats off.

On the other hand, Ferrari with ridiculous strategy on the side of Leclerc, again. My optimism from yesterday didn’t age well.

Lec had no bad treatment…. The double stack didn’t work well due to Ham in front. Best they could do with the shitty vsc placement.

Perhaps they should have split lec strategy but this way they won.

I think this was less about Ferrari's strategy, and more about Sainz's strategy and smart thinking in that one.

I truly feel for Charles, but I still think they should've risked putting on a used set of Softs in that VSC period... at least, he still would've finished 5th (or 4th with the Russell bump). Also left too much a gap behind the first round of stops and backed into the cars behind I think...

I take back my words about loosing the race, but less so Ferrari and more credit to Sainz. As mentioned already, a Win is a Win.

Reminds me now of 1988... McLaren (Red Bull 2023) basically win all the races, the only blip is that Ferrari win 1 Grand Prix. History might just repeat itself...

Sacrificing Lec was what ensured the Sainz win. They explained in commentary when it happened.

Can't finish much better than that. As I said earlier, this was Ferrari's best chance and they capitalized.

Hats off to Sainz for the impeccable race management. Double stack unlucky for Leclerc but can't fault his driving.

Fantastic race by Sainz. He managed it perfectly at the end.

Charles played for the team and was unlucky with the pit stop. Still he wasn't competitive this weekend, having to compensate by punishing the rears to achieve good lap times. In fact in the last 7 laps they were completely done.

Sargeant doesn’t go to SC and we all finish 1-2

Just brilliant Sainz, just brilliant.
Too bad for Leclerc but that is it, he also drove perfectly and I think snatching 2nd on the start was vital.

Maybe they could have pit him for Softs, but I think he sort of played big role to postpone the rushing Mercedes a bit.

Charles had fresh Mediums, no (started on softs)? In the first stint, he protected Carlos, building a gap.

At the VSC, he was kept out to defend/slow down George and Lewis as they came through. He nearly lost 4th to Max. If he had pitted, he could have jumped Lewis in the pits.

Regardless, super race from Sainz. The management at the end to give Lando DRS was super. I just do not imagine Sainz would have done the same for Charles if the roles were reversed.

Are we still getting updates next race?

Lucky that the Ocon stop on track was a VSC than a full SC.
