What we reckon for the pecking order red bull dominance or can merc or McLaren mount a challenge ?

I imagine the RB and McLaren will be strong in the first and second sectors given the fast corners at the 1st and into the 2nd sector.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Last year this was a fairly popular track to take engine penalties. I guess we could see some this weekend as well?

Here are the numbers of ICEs used so far, and at what point they were added to the pool:

Red Bull > Mercedes > McLaren > Ferrari
But that is if we see the high downforce wings, otherwise I would swap Mercedes and McLaren if it's medium downforce.

The bumps could be an issue for RB

Aye. As with Singapore they may have to run the car higher than they’d prefer.

It's also a sprint weekend. Could be a real stumbling block.

Most teams have data from last year so it should be a less difficult weekend in terms of setup.

I predict another Suzuka with 90% resemblance.

Should be #15 for Max. Qatar, USA & Brazil is massive overkill with sprints. 11pm not ideal either.

Definitely closer than Suzuka in my opinion, the slower corners and S3 will bring Mercedes and Ferrari closer to the front. Red Bull will still dominate, but win by only 10s instead of 20s.

Predict it will be closer at the front as I don't expect rbr to be introducing any more update on rb19 for remaining races. the race will be between ferrari and merc for p2.
