I don't know what you were watching, but I watched the onboard and "quite far past the line" is wishful. He was bang on the line, nothing to see here.

I rewatched it as well (on F1TV) - it seems to be bang on the line. Great positioning.

I meant far as in his car was far over the line, not his wheel. I don't have access to rewind, which is why I asked here.

Most of his car was over the line, just his left tires stayed on the line, but that is legal.

Bundle saying Russell has used two more new sets of softs than Lewis, but F1 app live tracking shows both drivers using the exact same tyres.
