So Leclerc forgot this was the 100th weekend with Ferrari. I can relate.
These 5 years have been absolutely awful and there is nothing to celebrate so not hard to forget.
Well, in that time he won five races and got about 20 poles. Most F1 drivers don’t achieve that in their entire careers. Yes, he would almost certainly have got more than that from 100 races in a Mercedes or a Red Bull in the years 2019-23 but no others.

Is it a reason to pop champagne? No, five seasons in a ferrari should generally produce at least one genuine title fight - so this isn’t good enough by any stretch - but there have been high points and any driver is in a privileged position if they drive in one of the top 6 best race seats in the world.

That practice session was horrible. Don’t hold out too much hope this weekend 😬

It's difficult (and early) to read. Some teams carried much more fuel than others.

Leclerc got p2 and his best sectors put him less than a tenth off Max?

The race will be painful, that is for sure. Top 5 would be a miracle.

Give this man a car and he's going to win it all. Great talent.

Great lap, worried the car setup is going to be all wrong for the race though. Let’s see where tomorrow takes us I guess

I also have concerns about the race pace. Ferrari is so fast on the straights compared to the others and that usually means they have less downforce for Sunday but then again, Alonso was quite competitive in Qatar with a similar mid-downforce setup compared to the rest.
