If they did then I would expect the same consistency in terms of penalties. Sadly a lot of it is conjecture from “fans”. I was only trying to be objective here

DOn't you remember a couple of races back, Max blocked twice and got away with it, as the other team never got invited to a meeting.

Can’t remember as I tend not to follow VER. But if he did then I would assume there were other mitigating circumstances and not a direct FIA order to protect him. Seems a bit laughable. Consistency in penalties has been my biggest bug bear for a long time

Doesn't matter if you are blocking someone, hence why he might be in trouble for the maximum lap time.
