Ferrari stinks in the race again, not only Hamilton gapped Charles, Norris would've caught Leclerc if not for Sainz giving him a huge cushion.
so in the end, starting him on Softs wasn't too bad a decision. If I got that right, Sainz even was quicker than LEC again those final laps

Wouldn't be a race at Austin without LH complaining over track limits from 100m back  =D>

I propose that Parc Ferme should only hold for the top 10 in qualifying.

Locking in a solvable issue for the smaller teams seems almost abusive. 😪
I propose to let it loose. Especially since we now have 2 qualies anyway.

Norris has pace on Perez as well. he was extending the gap after they both got by sainz.

It’s very poor and it seems he can’t help himself. Max had zero tracklimits.

Yes. Either Sainz pulled off a blinder, or Lec just let it be. Or both.

I know it wouldn't be fair, but FIA should slap russell with a more servere penalty for overtaking off track than the usual 5s, he's most obviously doing it on purpose and it has to stop at some point, he's making a mockery of racing...
In Suzuka 2005 Alonso cut chicane, overtook Klien and let him repass and then overtook him again, but stewards said it was too early and had to let him repass again. There lost more than 5s and position just to avoid penalty. These days it's faster way to get a penalty, repeating very weekend.

LEC coasted home. Thought Russell struggling to pass Sainz on those tyres wasn’t a great look for Merc, for all their progress.

Still plenty of pace in hand in the red bull of Max. Cruising. Be interesting to pull up the lap times. He did some PU assessment on the last lap and was 1-2seconds faster than most according to commentators.

Norris from the front row might be a good win bet.

If you wanna bet on someone other than Max that is.

Max allowed to push others off track again, things you love to see
Leclerc was not alongside. He was not anywhere near alongside. In fact he attempted his overtake by going off track.

Leclerc going completely off track to try and pass when he was never alongside, proceeds to blame Max. Things you love to see =D>

Vanja always post 180 degrees opposite when it comes to Max. Leclerc himself said post race that he had to try a move. And why not. It did cost him the place to Lewis but that is just one point.

He didn't blame max in the interview though. He seems to admit going for the gap.
