What does this even mean? Is he saying with more fuel Ferrari will be in better shape?
It seems like he's saying tomorrow should be better, but almost like the car is setup more for high fuel, despite not actually running high fuel in FP1.
He said that with the fuel load of the sprint, the deg of Ferrari was worse than Max and Hamilton/Norris (who are close to each other); then, he said Ferrari has low downforce, so it will be hard to protect the rears.
My understanding is that he’s not necessarily saying Ferrari will be better on higher loads but it’ll be worse for the others (so relatively better for Ferrari). Now, I have no idea why that would be but I think that’s what he’s saying.

Leclerc used the word “win” after the sprint, which surprised me. I think a podium would be a small miracle tbh.

1 stop strategy in a high deg track with a car that has a lot of deg...

You can always count on pitwall's ability to sabotage Charles.

Wtf. Why would Ferrari even think they can do 1 stop when they have such high deg. Even RB was not comfortable doing 1 stop.

Perfect strategy to screw Leclerc and make him look like a clown. Nothing new.

Ferrari wall going above and beyond the call of duty to push Leclerc away from the team... Well done, morons
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Wouldn’t be surprised if this kind of antics was a part of contract negotiating strategy. If Charles finishes behind Sainz in WDC this year, he’ll be in a weaker position to ask for $.

All in all, great job. Real original.

Can someone explain to me why the one that goes for a gamble like strategy is the one ahead and also why they went for a gamble in the first place? Knowing that deg was high and the car is hard on tyres?

P3 was available with a not shite strategy with Leclerc ...

Never ceases to amaze me how much Charles gets shafted every race especially when he's in better start positions than sainz

Leclerc will walk away at this rate. Ridiculous strategy from Ferrari to try and make a 1 stop work. Sainz should have done the 1 stop and put leclerc on the 2 stop

The questions Charles should be asking is why was he on single stop strategy when no one else was. Not why he should let Sainz by. Sainz was faster in the moment. The second question he should be asking was why wasn’t Sainz asked to give DRS to Leclerc after passing to defend from Perez. Sainz was nowhere this weekend. Have never seen Perez been given better strategy when he is now where most of the weekends.

First putting Charles on a one stopper and then making him let Sainz through with no chance to catch Norris. They told Sainz that he was one second a lap faster than Norris… what were they seeing?

Strategy still the worst part of this team by a mile. Horrible to watch.

I’d go as far as saying the worst strategy on the grid. They better have a fast car next year 😬
