The R word? Really? It isn't bitter thinking to observe a dynamic between two people. Even watching the post race podium room now Verstappen and Norris don't try to engage with Hamilton in conversation, it's awkward. I'm making the observation that they don't like Hamilton. When did I bring up race?
The only observable dynamic here is the insistence of Hamilton fans to make him out to be a victim with confirmation bias. Lando and Charles defended reasonably but no more. I recall earlier in the race Leclerc pulled a super late defensive move on Verstappen on the back straight, did you complain about that?
Read my comments again. I've only commented on Norris. I believe he doesn't like Hamilton. Neither does Verstappen. Norris is a loyal friend to Verstappen. I've seen it on track but also by his comments off track. How Norris interacts with Hamilton in a post race as well. Your not even arguing my point. You're implying I am trying to turn Hamilton into a victim.
I would even say most drivers aren't friends with Hamilton as he is hard to relate to due to him being older and hanging around Hollywood types. Norris and Verstappen really don't like him though. I understand why Verstappen sees Hamilton as a foe but I can't see Norris seeing him like that other than his close relationship with Verstappen
You've observed what fits into your narrative and gone with that, making Hamilton out to be a victim (not uncommon) and Ver/Nor in some kind of "friendly cahoots". These guys are professional racers first and foremost, friendship is secondary. All indications from the sprint were that Merc and McL had similar pace and that Max was out of their league. F1 is all about picking your battles wisely and not wasting tyre life battling someone you aren't going to be able to beat. These past couple of years that driver (who isn't worth battling because he's too fast) has been Max. Lando made the best decision for him based on the information he had about the race, he's not there to make the best decisions on behalf of Lewis (or Max).
Nevermind the fact that his fight vs Lewis was not particularly noteworthy at all. Standard pass. Lewis lost a bit of time? Cry me a river, it happens.
