this what i hate about this current sprint... lock in after FP1 where you can barely figure out anything.. if theyre going to have 1 FP at least make it 2hrs long or allow for a second FP like last year.
F1 wants that so it causes some of the top teams to be out of place. Hopefully sprints moving to Friday kills it. Doesn't do much for the weekend in my opinion. But I miss the 1:30 fp1 and 2 so
Honestly I would just rather they do extra practice get their set ups right and race. There's nothing fun about a team getting it wrong and dropping like a stone knowing the next overtake will be inevitable, fun is when teams actually race eachother as their performance is equal. If the FIA think this is fun then I guess we can say this is as entertaining as Saudi 2022....... Thought not.

Agree. One FP session, you get it wrong and you are stuffed for the rest of the weekend.

At least back when Vettel was dominating Webber was able to keep him honest. Funny how the media has been saying how Perez has been doing such a good job this weekend. Webber use to at least be on the podium quite often

He's doing a good job in comparison to whatever he's been doing post Miami, which isn't much.

Merc consistently about 30% slower than Redbull in the pits. Is it really that hard to film them and copy until your roughly the same.

I'm thinking Mercedes can't the tyres into working range is the issue. RB19 being another car that takes a little bit to get the tyres up to temp somehow Red Bull have figured out how to get them into range

He hustled the start of his stint (unwisely) to pass Hamilton.

Never mind tyre grip etc, they can't even get the car to be competitive when it's going in a straight line.

Perez had to fight Hamilton and Alonso, came to 1.2s behind Alonso when everyone exepcted easy overtake, but then started to lose.

It's really nice to see Gasly up there. Wonder what it could've been with a good qualy.

I wonder too if Ocon can catch Russell.
