Depends on how Vasseur responds, he finally noted issues with strategy after Austin fiasco. Hopefully he'll also realise they have issues with mechanics (remember also the Spain), in the sense of how they work and what the check-up procedures are. Will only be able to judge his direction next year and long-term strategy in late 2025 and 2026...

I have no faith whatsoever.

This was the perfect race to start from the pitlane. They had all the info available to understand this was going to be the best decision, but they didn't.

They are just incompetent. All the team should be changed. There is nothing to save.

His side of the garage is more incompetent.

The number of mechanical mishaps over the past several seasons, specifically on Leclerc's side of the garage, is entirely unacceptable. It's inconsistent with the number of mishaps seen with other teams, and it's inconsistent with the number of mishaps seen on Sainz's side of the garage. At best, this means Sainz's side of the garage is far more competent; at worst, it could be the result of the political leverage held by Spanish powers-that-be within Ferrari.

Leclerc's garage needs to be entirely cleaned out. It's absurd, ridiculous, and totally unacceptable for a Formula 1 team.

I'd be curious why RC didn't allow Leclerc to grid following the red flag. Assuming the suspension was undamaged, they could've put on a fresh front-wing and given it a second shot. Shame.

He didn’t restart because his car was broken, engine had emergency shutoff. Had he made it back on his own he was going to take part, but he didn’t even start the race.

Actually, you need to stay in the car at all times while on track. In your garage you can leave the car and also return to it and get back on track. That's why Russell had a DNF at Silverstone last year, he left the car to check up on Zhou...
