But it did a much more excavated and worked version of it that is, we can say farewell to the sidepod kick.
According to @Vanja the car shows clear signs of drag reduction, so after multiple failed experiments of drag reduction during 2023 they didn't shy away from trying to make it work once again.
Given that both the old and Austin parts were swapped frequently during the final races of the season depending on track requirements, they had to be close in terms of overall performance, but they must have seen that the big undercut had more potential.
