There were shakedowns and filming day tests for both cars. While it's silly to take one single lap from each run as a comparison, the fact here is that every run of 24 car is visibly faster than in 23. Moreover, there seem to be nore quicker, on the edge runs of 24 car. This all aligns with what both drivers said, of car being easier to drive and more predictable. Fastest lap of 23 vs 24 is not a valid comparisson due to resurfacing, but it does put some things in perspective.
It's completely valid for anyone to conclude Ferrari seem to have made decent improvements since a year ago. And that's the extent of conclusion until late Friday, after Bahrain test concludes
