Unless I'm misinterpreting things, Albon seems to have suggested a link between power steering and ride height control, despite the previous ban on POU designs.

That 29.9 can't be a C4 lap from Sainz... Did he cut the track somewhere?

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Both Sainz's runs were on new C4s each time. Out lap, fast lap, in lap.

The car does look good. Albon just mentioned earlier that it looks like the Red Bull and Ferrari seem to be the only two that aren't affected by wind. Good rear stability.

It was a clean lap on C4. The car looked really well.

Why not? Pole lap is faster than that.

Not bad. 31.3 on C3 from Max yesterday is more impressive for me, given worse track conditions etc

Decent lap, only a couple of tenths off Max’s 2023 pole lap, but on a softer compound tyre, better track conditions, what have you… clearly a lot more to come if we assume each time has found several tenths a lap. Fully expecting Max in the RB20 to get a low 29/high 28 come Qualifying in a couple of weeks.

What for? Sponsors? :)

I don’t think Ferrari needs that. It’s simply testing. They’ve used three new sets of C4s for those runs, every time with some setup tweaks in between.

The c4 tyres aren't in use at Bahrain GP and the tyres are unchanged compared to 2023, so it's not like you just need data on the tyre itself. Why run on it in that case other than to push exclusively for laptime hence glory runs. Anyway I'm just poking fun.

It's an impressive lap
