Wow, that's not what you want to do unless you aren't sure what to expect from your suspension :shock: Compliance alert, code red level 5 :shock:

The launch renders did show 2 different pick up points and two suspension arm so it seems it was well planned before testing. not sure how is that an alert code red level 5 and whatnot :wtf: ](*,)

but its incredible smart that they can do, instead of building in a flaw that cant be changed the whole year, incredible if they made it modular

Definitely a good idea, seems like they're testing what amount of anti dive is needed, or maybe they've thought about it being track specific, if its a balance between anti dive behavior and aero, faster tracks with less braking zones might benefit more from the aero advantage than the anti dive advantage

I don't think the adjustable suspension is a new thing, I can remember a long wheel based McLaren had moveable front suspension, so they could set it up for different tracks. Monaco inparticular was one track they would reduce the wheel base by moving the suspension backwards.

If i remember correctly it was Mercedes also, and it was not adjustable suspension, or modular like this.
It was track specific front wishbones used for Monaco only that pulled the front wheels slightly back

I expect the adjustable part would be replaced after FP3 with a "solid" part that weighs less. Like a 3d printed bushing.
