Sainz's morning lap must've been a blinder.

Offsetting for better track conditions today and softer tyres, Max' C3 lap from a few minutes ago is still not as good as Sainz' C4 29.9 lap, which itself was quite a relaxed lap without any corrections and pushing the boundaries. No one is still close to the limit.

I think those were used C3's on VER, weren't they? And they just listed Charles fast lap as being on a C5... is that correct? I thought it was a C4. His current lap, also on softs is not faster than his previous

The timing data for tyre age has been incredibly poor in the afternoon session. For first half hour it was lacking all data completely

Track is definitely slower than yesterday. Fred seemed quite relaxed when interviewed, talking about the improved drive ability but urging caution compared to RB.

Interesting sky F1 taking about the cooling outlets, suggesting a potential change to come to the engine cover that may have not been shown yet.
