Verstappen clearly trying specific stints with target times. He could go much quicker of course.

I'm sure someone will post it, but that was around 18 laps for Charles on that stint, all times in the 36's (36.0-36.7) from what I could gather.

Leclerc pitted onto C2s and went straight back out. So it's a true race sim! Now lapping in the high 1:34s.

I haven't seen anything that suggest RB are the big bad boogeyman to be honest. If Verstappen wasn't on fuel fuel loads, then his race sims are slower than Leclerc.

He went back into the garage each time. He's also not doing the right stint lengths for a proper race sim. I believe he's doing a stint on each tyre on medium fuel and they're seeing the deg

Max was on target times, not "full pace".

You can't be that consistent in a track like Bahrain where thermal deg is a thing. It means he had way more pace in hand at that fuel load.

If you know what you watch, it's actually very scary.

Cheers; Missed the 35.8. Solid stint, but seems to suffer a bit of degradation towards the end. Not sure if it was slowed-up by the Yellow Flag. With C1 being the hardest tyre, would've thought it would have gone a bit longer; Unless Charles was pushing harder in that stint.

When have they ever shown their hand in testing?

Maybe 2022 when their upgrade package arrived
