I suspect one look at the underfloor would tell us why it picked up low speed understeer...
Maybe RB can loan Perez for an FP to Ferrari? :)

Loads of traffic in turns 6-7 for our drivers.

Balance of the car seems a little too on the nose right now

Anything's better than to hear Leclerc on the radio saying "I need +6 on the front wing"

[EDIT 43 mins into the session]: Looks like a messy session so far. Lots of aborted laps.

Yeah, I get the feeling that the setup is tailored for the race conditions... we won't be racing in this heat in 2 days time

Even still, on the medium push laps, we are right there with Verstappen. Marko also made a comment today expecting us to be their biggest competitors at Bahrain

All the grip from testing is gone, the track is green. Everyone's struggling.

Yeah, Max is also struggling to turn on full car, some understeer, some oversteer. Not easy conditions.

Leclerc and Sainz running different setups. Leclerc gains in S2, whereas Sainz is rapid in S3.

Leclerc stint times: 36.8 38.0 (lock-up in the last corner) 38.0 37.7 37.5 38.6 (run into the traffic in Gasly)
I wasn't taking notes of Sainz's times, but he was lapping around 1-2 tenths quicker I think.

I'd say these look pretty respectable. I also happen to remember the last years' FP1

those are equivalent runs, but overall look competitive with RBR.

Thank you!

It looks like they keep doing what they did in testing with drivers' respective programs. Sainz starts off slow and gradually builds up the speed, whereas Leclerc is told to push from the get-go.
