I'm betting teams won't use hards during FP, they'll save both sets for the race(according to what Pirelli said last week there's no big difference between C1 and C2 in performance, but C1 probably can go longer and is more consistent).
C2 is a bad tyre. Everyone would prefer to do C3-C1-C1.Sevach wrote: ↑01 Mar 2024, 10:53I'm betting teams won't use hards during FP, they'll save both sets for the race(according to what Pirelli said last week there's no big difference between C1 and C2 in performance, but C1 probably can go longer and is more consistent).

Also no, everyone gets the same sets.

Based on the following data could someone enlighten us with some info regarding the engine/ERS mode that both drivers were at that particular L20 (the 13th lap of their race simulation)?atanatizante wrote: ↑29 Feb 2024, 18:09In their FP2 race simulation stint on the same soft tyre, the times set on the 13th lap were:
HAM 1.37.4
VER 1.36.6 ... so the case is closed!
Important caveat: before that 13th lap, both drivers did a cool lap
