A concern that becomes even greater if the 'father' of the RB20, Red Bull Technical Director Adrian Newey, did not expect this result and, more generally, this performance: "I must say that it was unexpected – admitted the British designer to Viaplay – we were not satisfied with the car and the gap we had in practice, But in the race everything went the right way."
According to Newey, there are still some areas of the car that need to be worked on to increase the potential, even if the result of the inaugural GP is the result of the team's overall work: "It's our whole team, the engineering team, everyone behind the car. All the guys in Milton Keynes have made a huge effort to get here, to have the performance we have had," he concluded.

I start to have a sense that RedBull is setting much more aggressive development targets than other teams.
Usual trend from recent years that most competitors are very happy with their development over the winter, saying they hit most of their marks etc only then to be find out it was not enough by far.
While RB is usually a bit concerned, not hitting some of their targets and then pleasantly surprised at the end, not really understanding what the others are (not) doing.
Really it seems that RB is the only team taking this seriously.
