He passes if he keeps it out of the walls and barriers. If he qualifies well or scores points thats icing on the cake, which i think he will achieve.
If he wins?
He gets a doctorate and a scholarship for post doc research.

Completed on Lap 7 of his soft tyre stint. Pretty impressive.

Bearman replacing Sainz may make this weekend a bit more interesting…
Wow. The guy is on pole for the f2 weekend and has to also drive an f1 car at a Grand Prix. I doubt he will score points in the Ferrari. Don’t Ferrari have a reserve driver?
He is their reserve driver. And he has recent experience in F1 car @ Mexico free practice 2023 where he seemed up to speed. Jeddah is a circuit where Bearman runs well at. I think he'll score good points especially because Ferrari look fairly strong here. No point giving reserve driver role if you don't actually want him to be your reserve.
He's also already run the track this weekend (and secured pole in F2) so it's a no-brainer honestly. I think he's the least likely of the 3 reserves to put it into the wall. If he finishes a clean, decent race, maybe even end in the points, it'll be a HUGE win for him.

I have absolutely no doubt anymore why Hamilton decided to switch to Ferrari in 2025,this is such a depressing, depressing edition of Hamilton in Jeddah...

It's Free Practice!

Let's wait until the end of qualifying to see which Mercedes driver has the pace, or if both Mercedes drivers do. If Russell can get the car in the top six, then the potential is there. Hamilton is usually not far behind. :)

Things are not looking great for LH hope he will do better for qualifying.

Fact that he is so involved with W15 design input and yet struggle to keep pace with GR does make me wonder how he is going to pull through this season..

Everything that happens on the track is completely contrary to the statements of all Mercedes people, all the expectations of the car for this season are completely different from the reality on the track, all Mercedes fans like me would like the situation to be different on the track, but in my opinion this season will be over the same as 2023 in terms of results.

FWIW, Jeddah was Lewis' worst qualifying relative to Russell last year. Ultimately, you need confidence in the car to throw it in the Sector 1 corners, and he still doesn't like the rear of the W15.

I'm waiting until the European leg to really make a judgement on driver performances with new cars.
