Given how strong Norris is still lapping and that Charles hasn’t closed the gap down, I wonder if it would’ve been worth staying out longer on the Mediums in clear air and try an alternative strategy for the end of the race.

Of course, could’ve been running the bigger rear wing that was effected the overall pace in the race.

Ferrari will always be Ferrari, what a strategic choice for sacrificing drag for downforce, lucky there is no Mclaren or Merc breathing down their neck, hopeless choice

They do have it, otherwise it wouldn't have been listed in the new parts.

I think it would have been more optimal to go with less drag/less DF. Too much tyre life left, with the fastest lap in the last lap.

Charles said post race to Xavi he struggled to be consistent. I think the tyres weren't getting heat into them(just a prediction tho)

Yeah, they're being overly conservative now. Duchessa said that they raised the car and went for softer setup, so I guess that's why the car was weak in S1.

The team is a bit traumatized from the memories of bad tire wear and lack of race pace.
Hopefully they understand fast that this car can go a bit harder.

Not that it matters much, Ferrari is easily clear from the chasing pack and not as fast as RBR.

Good job Bearman, his pace on clear air was good enough to be in the Alonso-Russell range.

Good to know that even still with compromising the setup we can beat out everyone else. Now the focus is solely on Red Bull
