Yeah pure performance wise, Ferrari might have been the car to beat at Bahrain even.

Potentially yes, as Bahrain Q2 and a not maximized technical potential at Jeddah proved (too light on the tyres and no use of a low-mid downforce set up in SA).
Formu1a uno reported Imola for the upgrade package I think
I hope nice weather as I’m in japan for 10 days around that time. Usually April is nice with fairly little rain. Rains start in may-june for the whole summer with typhoons and such.deadhead wrote:They seems to be betting on testing things out at Suzuka, but the chances of bad weather there are quite high so that might not happen. If it's cold/rainy there we would end up with only one race under "normal" conditions out of the first 4

Nugnes says aerodynamic developments to arrive at Suzuka too.

The stuff that is scheduled for Suzuka should be very "small" according to previous reports.KimiRai wrote: ↑19 Mar 2024, 14:26Nugnes says aerodynamic developments to arrive at Suzuka too.

Time will tell if he's right or wrong...![]()
Resta's been in Haas for a while now and previously with Sauber, Sampo might be the more valuable hire for Mercedes simulator operations in short-term. Hopefully Vasseur makes sure Mercedes waits as long as possible, a tiny payback after the ridiculous situation with Loic Serra's contract.CaribouBread wrote: ↑20 Mar 2024, 11:12https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/merce ... /10589045/
Autosport reporting that Mercedes has signed Simone Resta and Enrico Sampo (performance software, driver simulator team leader for Ferrari). Both are still contracted to Ferrari up to '25 if I understand correctly.
Hope the people Lewis will bring from Merc will be worth it!![]()
