He makes an excellent point. Personally I think if a driver gets 2 ten second penalties, it should automatically convert to a drive through penalty that must be served within 2 laps of the penalty being issued.

Because 20 seconds is not far off a drive through penalty time loss at most circuits. To get 2 penalties for the same offence suggests intent and imo intentional unsportsmanlike conduct.

Did KMag get 2 penalties for same offence?

I am only contesting for a harsher penalty for overtaking to gain an advantage

Sure did, both were for overtaking off track and not redressing it by handling the place back. Once was against Yuki, but I can’t recall who the other driver it was against.

Edit: my memory is faulty, the first penalty was for crashing into Alex while trying to overtake him.

Hmm, looks like we are very solidly in the middle of the field here.

Definitely solid.

The FP finish order doesn’t mean much at this point tho, the track evolution was significant across each season and Daniel did his qualifying sim runs earlier in the sessions than Yuki.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in qually tho, there was so little time separating the midfield.

Oh that’s brutal for Daniel losing his best Q1 lap for a turn 5 transgression!

Only a 1/10th between the lads and mixing it with the McLarens in Q1 was really promising too!

Very, Very good work from Yuki.

Yuki crushing it again. Interesting that Marko said both Yuki and Daniel are too slow in the races (perhaps therefore comparisons between the two about who is quicker don't really matter) . I guess they have the data internally that supports this

I fear you are right.

Hopefully the team can give Daniel and Yuki good strategies for the race.
