I was talking about sustained running, which would be impossible.

I just wrote a whole post arguing why the tank couldn't work until I realized you said 2-3 seconds of running.

more ideas: A roller coaster corkscrew, and a turn where the first half is uphill and 2nd half is downhill or vice versa

Just for the heck of it:

From the start/finish 470-500 metre straight;
into the first turn and shortened second turn of Shanghai circuit;
onto a short 100-120 metre straight;
into the Suzuka complex of turns 3,4,5 & 6;
onto a 300-340 metre straight
into a 130/140 degree right turn;
onto a 220-240 metre straight;
into the four apex turn 8 of Istanbul Park circuit;
onto a 300-340 metre straight;
into a 90 degree right turn;
onto a 250-280 metre sweeping right turn;
into the Silverstone complex, Maggotts, Becketts & Chapel;
onto a 50-60 metre straight;
into Sepang’s turns 7 & 8;
onto a 210-230 metre straight;
into a 170 degree left and 80 degree right sweeper;
onto the main straight.



A creative driver or capable car shouldn't need straight line speed to be fast.

I made this track a couple years ago when i was younger and bored in school one day. I drew it on paper first then scanned and did a proper version in Adobe Photoshop.

This is the main track showing all where all the corners were derived from



This shows the other inner tracks i added so this track could be used by other smaller series as well.



I wish i knew how to model tracks in F1 Sims, i started learning ages ago, but never committed fully enough.

JV designs a track called Area 27 a 3 mile track proposed in British Colombia

Looks like an anti-clockwise track; looks a lot like Jerez (probably in honor of where he won his WDC)

If a helix-type upside-down section was part of a track ( see James Bond 'Man with the Golden Gun' stunt),
then +ve G would keep the vital fluids in regular order, it might be an issue, if -ve G was utilized, via downforce..

IMO, certain natural track-type corners - with unwinding style high speed sweeping turns - could be interesting..
