I think this might just turn out ok if these softs can hold on for a bit. He needs Perez to get past Leclerc.

He'll have to stop again and do a lot of overtakes though but they should be sitting ducks on old tyres... We'll see

That penalty for Stroll is pretty crazy, Alonso's lockup caused a concertina effect and everyone braking, and he didnt have much chance to avoid Ricciardo

Yeah, unless there is another VSC or SC he might not even get points if he pits again. But with 30 lap old softs in the end he might get passed by lots of cars too...

Softs would be a sitting duck to the end. Still can't see a reason for why they tried softs.
The lighter car with fresh meds might go up to 7th but not much time to catch Russell I guess.
